The Mavs Reading Challenge presented by Whataburger encourages the love of reading for students of all ages.
Students K-12 who read for 20 minutes a day for 40 days can earn cool prizes from the Dallas Mavericks and Whataburger!
2023 Reading Challenge runs NOW through March 31!
The Mavs and Whataburger are challenging students to read (or be read to) at least 20 minutes per day for 40 days. All students who log 20 minutes a day, for at least 40 days now through March 31 will receive a Whataburger Completion Certificate, a Free Meal Coupon from participating Whataburger locations, and a Mavs Swag Bag!
Top 20 students will receive tickets two to a Mavs game and a Special Whataburger Swag Bag.
The student who reads the most minutes will also receive a Mavs Mascot visit to their classroom!
Dallas Public Library Participants will be eligible to pick up their prizes once 40 days are completed! Keep logging to be entered into the grand prize drawing.
Fort Worth and Other Public Library Systems- Be on the lookout for an email from the Dallas Mavericks by April 5th with prize delivery information or prize pickup instructions at your nearest library branch!
