In February 2018, we envisioned that the Dallas Mavericks would set the NBA standard for inclusion and diversity. We are intentional about creating and sustaining a workplace where every voice matters and everybody belongs.
From our diverse employee body to our five Employee Resource Groups and our vendors and fans, we represent the rich tapestry of our country and our world. The time, talent and treasure that we invest in our communities reflect our deep commitment to ensuring that equality, equity and justice are achievable for ALL members of our society.
In keeping with our values of Character, Respect, Authenticity, Fairness, Teamwork and Safety and our desire to perfect our CRAFTS daily, we embrace a values-based Diversity, Equity & Inclusion agenda that is focused on Customers, Reputation, Agenda for Women, Family (work, home and community), Talent, Suppliers and sponsors.

We are focused on fostering a culture where diversity, equity and inclusion are woven throughout the fabric of the organization. Our core values of Character, Respect, Authenticity, Fairness, Teamwork and Safety are the foundation of our organization. Living out our values has been integral to our brand transformation, and has contributed to building solid partnerships/relationships with other businesses, as we provide ongoing support to our surrounding communities.
Our inclusion strategy efforts are ongoing throughout the organization and in our community as we focus on our key DEI pillars: Customers, Reputation, Agenda for Women, Family (work, home, community), Talent, Suppliers and Sponsors. We are committed to develop training, education and recruiting through a DEI lens. We invite you to join us on our journey to listen, learn and unite our communities as we address racial inequities and disparities, promote social justice and drive sustainable change.
I am truly proud of the progress our organization has made in this DEI space since 2018. I would like to thank our CEO Cynt Marshall, our Executive Leadership Team and our Mavs staff for their ongoing commitment in putting in the work. We are in this together.
