The Dallas Mavericks are set to play four preseason games this upcoming season, including one at American Airlines Center.

The Mavs will open preseason play with a pair of games in Abu Dhabi against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2023. Those will be on Oct. 5 and Oct. 7, respectively, with a tipoff time of 11 a.m., Dallas time.

From there, the Mavs will play point guard Luka Doncic’s former club – Real Madrid – on Oct. 10 at 1:45 p.m. Dallas time in Spain. It will be the Mavs’ first preseason game versus a non-NBA team played outside of America since they played Alba Berlin in Germany, and also played FC Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain, in 2012.

The Mavs’ final preseason game will be on Oct. 20 at AAC with a 7 p.m. tipoff against the Detroit Pistons.

The Mavs’ opening two preseason games against Minnesota will be streaming live on Mavs.com, while the final two preseason games against Real Madrid and Detroit will be televised on Bally Sports Southwest. Also, all four games will be broadcast on 97.1 FM The Freak (KEGL), and in Spanish on Zona MX 99.1 FM (KFZO).

The NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2023 will air live in the UAE and across North Africa and the Middle East on The Sports Channel, beIN SPORTS, and NBA League Pass, and will reach fans in more than 200 countries and territories on television, social media and digital media.

The Mavs will open the regular season on Oct. 25 in San Antonio against the Spurs and Victor Wembanyama, the No. 1 overall pick in June’s NBA Draft. The Mavs’ regular season home opener is Oct. 27 against the Brooklyn Nets.
