Lee (6-5, 215) was selected by Orlando in the first round (22nd overall pick) of the 2008 NBA Draft following a standout career at Western Kentucky. During his four seasons at WKU, Lee averaged 17.6 points per game while starting all 127 of his games for the Hilltoppers. He was named First Team All-Sun Belt in each of his final three seasons (2004-05 to 2007-08) and earned 2007-08 Sun Belt Player of the Year honors as a senior. Lee finished his college career tied with Jim McDaniels as the school’s all-time leading scorer (2,238).
