Courtney Lee (6’5″, 215 lbs) drafted by Orlando in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2008 NBA Draft following a stellar college career.

During his time at Western Kentucky Lee averaged 17.6 ppg in 127 games (all starts) over four seasons (2004-05 thru 2007-08). He was named First Team All-Sun Belt for three consecutive seasons and earned 2007-08 Sun Belt Player of the Year honors as a senior. Finished college career tied with Jim McDaniels as the school’s all-time leading scorer (2,238). He ended his storied college career ranked first in school history in games started (127) and free throw percentage (. 817), second in three-point field goals made (245) and steals (242).

The journeyman guard joins his eighth NBA team (Knicks. Magic, Nets, Rockets, Celtics, Grizzlies, Hornets) as he finds a new home with the Dallas. Lee was a part of the exciting deal that landed Kristaps Porziņģis on the Mavericks. The veteran will offer Finals experience to the young, talented Mavericks squad.
