Antonius (ann-TONE-ee-us) Cleveland is in his second stint as a two-way player for the Mavericks. He re-joined the team as a free agent on July 25, 2019, after an impressive showing at the 2019 NBA Summer League.
Cleveland (6-5, 195) has appeared in 28 NBA games for Dallas and Atlanta since making his debut with the Mavericks on Nov. 17, 2017. He has also seen action in 85 games (59 starts) for the Texas Legends and Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA G League.
The undrafted swingman was a four-year player at Southeast Missouri State (2013-17). As a senior, he averaged a team-high 16.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 steals in 33 games (all starts) for the Redhawks en route to being named All-Ohio Valley Conference First Team. When he made his debut, Cleveland became just the second NBA player in Southeast Missouri State history (Rich Eichhorst, 1962).
