Mavs Reading Challenge
In partnership with Fort Worth Public Library, Kaufman County Library, and Henderson County Library ran January 1st – March 18th 2018
The North Texas Mavs Reading Challenge was an 11-week program designed to improve reading literacy throughout North Texas and encourage the love of reading for kids of all ages.
North Texas Parents, students and teachers could participate by downloading the online reading log (link to PDF) or picking up a reading log book mark at any of the Fort Worth Public Libraries, The Kaufman County Library, the Henderson County Library or a Fort Worth, Kaufman, or Athens Whataburger Restaurant. Students tracked their reading for the chance to win special prizes from the Dallas Mavericks and presenting sponsor Whataburger.
