Fans of the Dallas Mavericks can get a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the team this Sunday, Oct. 6th, when the organization hosts a free open practice at the American Airlines Center. The event is presented by ESPN Dallas 103.3.

Teams across the NBA will hold similar sessions in order to continue the growth of the league and allow fans to gain up-close and personal encounters with their favorite teams and players. The unique, league-wide initiative also seeks to reach those fans who might not be able to afford similar access at home games during the season.

THE 411 ON THE DALLAS MAVERICKS OPEN PRACTICE

WHEN: Sunday, October 6th

Doors Open: 11:30AM

Practice Begins: 1:00PM

WHERE: American Airlines Center | 2500 Victory Ave., Dallas, TX 75207

PARKING: FREE parking will be available in the Lexus Parking Garage (2620 N. Houston; space is limited).

ENTRANCE: Entrance to the event will be located at the East doors of the American Airlines Center. Admission is FREE and no ticket is required to attend.

OTHER: Fans can enjoy a special combo deal with a hotdog, chips and soda for $5. There will be special appearances by the Mavs ManiAACs, Mavs Mascots and Mavs Drumline – plus Mavericks merchandise discounts and ticket specials.
