The Dallas Mavericks aim to provide fans with an entertaining and wholesome experience at every home game at American Airlines Center.

And it doesn’t get any more wholesome than milk.

For the first time, the Mavericks will offer milk as a beverage option at their games and other events at AAC, entering into an official partnership with Dallas-based Borden, which will become the “official milk of the Dallas Mavericks.”

Fans can find Borden Dairy products at several locations throughout AAC: Pizza Hut concession stands, the Market To Go food stand and the Valor Bar & Burger, which also will offer indulgent milkshakes made with Borden milk.

“The Mavericks are a beloved team that we are proud to support,” said Joe DePetrillo, Borden’s chief marketing officer. “Their games offer fun, positive energy for the whole family and we are eager to enhance the fan experience.”

Borden was founded in 1857 and features more than 35 wholesome products enjoyed by millions of people every day. And, of course, America’s favorite spokes-cow, Elsie, has been around since 1936 and was named one of the top 10 advertising icons of the 20th century.

This year, Borden was listed 16th on Forbes’ list of America’s most reputable companies, highlighting Borden’s well-earned trust by consumers.

As part of the agreement, Borden will offer unique fan experiences, including the opportunity to take a Mavericks’ player to school, serve as a Borden Milk honorary co-captain at games and the chance to take home a Borden growth chart featuring a Mavericks’ player.

The Mavericks take great pride in making their games an experience for fans of all ages and having family-friendly eating and drinking options is important to the organization, CEO Cynt Marshall said.
“The Dallas Mavericks are thrilled to welcome Borden to the partnership family, and the fact they are based in Dallas is even more exciting,” Marshall said. “There are so many great aspects to this partnership, including Borden’s commitment to the Dallas community and exclusive experiences for Mavs fans that we cannot wait to get started.”

Fans can stay atune to events and details about the partnership’s initiatives on social media at @BordenDairy and Dallasmavs.com.
