The Mavericks selected Justin Anderson with the 21st pick in the NBA Draft.

Anderson averaged 12.2 points and 4.0 rebounds as a junior with Virginia last season, connecting on 45.2 percent of his three-pointers.

At 6′ 6″, 227 pounds with nearly a 7′ wingspan, Anderson is considered one of the best defensive prospects in the draft. He has the versatility to defend both the shooting guard and small forward positions.

Satnam Singh

Considering his versatility, defensive abilities, and NBA-ready body, Anderson figures to receive immediate playing time for the Mavs this season.

The Mavs drafted Satnam Singh with the 52nd pick in the NBA Draft.

Singh, a 19-year-old center from India, stands at 7’2″ and 290 pounds. He becomes the first player born in India to play in the NBA.

He averaged 4.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in six games at the 2013 FIBA Asia Championships and 9.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.2 blocks for the IMG Academy, a private boarding school in Florida, this season.
