The Dallas Mavericks officially announced their preseason schedule for the 2021-22 season, and it will include a road game against the defending NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks.

Mark Cuban’s team will open preseason play at home on Oct. 6 against the Utah Jazz at 7:30 p.m. That will be followed by an Oct. 8 contest at American Airlines Center at 7:30 p.m. against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Mavs then hit the road for a 5:30 p.m. game on Oct. 13 against the Charlotte Hornets, before concluding preseason action on Oct. 15 with a 7 p.m. contest against the Bucks.

The Mavs will open regular season play on Oct. 21 at the Atlanta Hawks and will also play at Toronto on Oct. 23 before their home opener on Oct. 26 against the Houston Rockets.

With two-time All-Star point guard Luka Doncic leading the way, the Mavs finished last season as the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference with a 42-30 record before losing to the Clippers in an epic seven games during the first round of the playoffs.
