March 16, 2021 (DALLAS, TX) – The Dallas Mavericks are teaming up with Chick-fil-A to launch the “Threes That Feed” initiative, benefitting the Mavs Foundation. In an effort to combat the ongoing challenges due to the pandemic, specifically food insecurity, Chick-fil-A will make a donation to the Mavs Foundation every time a three-point shot is made by a Mavs player during all home games.

The initiative, aimed at providing support for DFW community members, began on March 15th and will continue for the duration of the regular season. Donations to the Mavs Foundation will be utilized to grant funds to organizations supporting the growing food, hunger and homelessness needs in North Texas.

ABOUT THE MAVS FOUNDATION: Over the past 24 years, the Mavs Foundation has provided grant funding totaling more than $6 million dollars to nonprofit organizations serving women, children and families in need. In addition to grants, the Mavs Foundation has built 47 safe Learn & Play spaces throughout the North Texas community, including 27 basketball courts and 20 Reading & Learning Centers. These spaces are designed to encourage healthy living and provide a safe place for children and residents, as well as expand learning opportunities and access to technology to support youth education programs, teen and adults job-skill training and other critical programs.
