One of the most anticipated days for Dallas Mavericks players, coaches, fans and media is when the team convenes for its annual Media Day beginning at 11:30 a.m. at American Airlines Center.

The 2019-20 Mavericks’ squad will spend the day taking updated pictures in their uniforms and hitting the media circuit to interview with dozens of reporters. They’ll also film new video intros and storylines to air on the jumbotron throughout the season.

Fans can follow along live on as broadcasters Mark Followill and Chuck Cooperstein visit with players and coaches throughout the day. A link will be provided on the homepage that is free to view.

The team will start formal training camp Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. at the Lympo Practice Facility.

Training camp concludes on Sunday, Oct. 6, with an open practice that is open to the public and free. East doors at the American Airlines Center open at 11:30 a.m. and fans can enjoy a special combo deal with a hotdog, chips and soda for $5. Players will take the court at 12:45 p.m. for warmups, followed by introductions and a scrimmage. The event is slated to conclude at 2:30 p.m.

Dallas starts camp with 20 players representing nine different countries/territories: Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, Latvia, Puerto Rico, Serbia, Slovenia and the United States.

The average age of the team entering training camp is 26 years old, with JJ Barea the oldest player at 35, and Luka Doncic, 20, the youngest.

There are five rookies (Yudai Baba, Aric Holman, Dakota Mathias, Josh Reaves, Isaiah Roby). Barea is the longest-tenured, starting his 13th NBA season this year, followed by Courtney Lee with 11 seasons under his belt.

Mavs fans can join the team for the annual Tipoff Luncheon benefiting the Mavs Foundation on Oct. 21 at 12:30 p.m. at The Statler.

Followill and Cooperstein will host the event on stage with a moderated Q&A with the players. Attendees will also enjoy fun surprises, a special Mavs gift and become the first to meet the 2019-20 Dallas Mavericks. To learn more and purchase tickets, click here.
