Dirk Nowitzki needs less than 200 points to become the sixth player in NBA history to score 30,000 for his career.

The Big German has already scored more points than any other international player in league history. Now he’s approaching entry into one of the most exclusive clubs in all of professional sports. For reference, more MLB hitters have belted 600 home runs, more NFL running backs have rushed for 100 touchdowns, and more NHL players have scored 700 goals.

The final countdown has officially begun.

Enter our contest below by the time he gets to within 100 points for a chance to win 30,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles and Mavs memorabilia. All you have to do is choose the game and quarter that Nowitzki will score his 30,000th point — at his current rate of 12.6 points per game, it will take him 16 games, though his scoring numbers have increased lately now that he appears to be nearing 100 percent after a sore Achilles sidelined him for most of the early part of the season.

One winner will be chosen at random from those who nail their prediction.

Good luck, and Dirk Forever.
