November 12, 2014 (DALLAS, TX) – The Dallas Mavericks announced their first-ever partnership with FanDuel today, the global leader in one-day fantasy sports. The fully integrated marketing agreement makes FanDuel an official sponsor of the Mavericks, thereby increasing FanDuel’s exposure during all Mavericks games, including closed-circuit television broadcasts, radio broadcasts and an online presence.

“We’re excited to be partnering with an innovative company like FanDuel, engaging our MFFLs in a whole new way, as well as increasing the fan base of an emerging technology,” said Mark Cuban, proprietor of the Dallas Mavericks. “FanDuel is creating the opportunity to capture the potential Mavs fan while engaging them in a second platform. It’s a whole new fantasy sports fan base we have yet to tap into.”

As a part of the sponsorship, FanDuel will provide a GM Fantasy Sweepstakes, where a fan will have the chance to win a behind-the-scenes experience with the Mavs GM Donnie Nelson. Details will be announced at a later date.

“The Mavericks have long been regarded as one of the most innovative franchises, and for us – as a startup that is changing the sports entertainment experience through one-day fantasy leagues – we knew we had to partner with them,” said Nigel Eccles, CEO of FanDuel.

The partnership will last throughout the 2014-2015 season.
