The Dallas Mavericks hosted a Hoops for Troops “Commitment to Service” volunteerism event on Tuesday, November 5th, 2019. Dallas Mavericks staff, players and ManiAACs worked side by side with members of the 301st Fighter Wing Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth and packed 500 meals for veterans at the VA hospital in partnership with Minnie’s Food Pantry.

In celebration of Veterans Day, the NBA family hosts its annual Hoops for Troops Week in collaboration with members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families through the Hoops for Troops program. Throughout the week, NBA teams, players, coaches and referees will work closely with members of the military and their families to make a positive impact in communities.
