The Mavs Reading Challenge presented by Whataburger encourages the love of reading for students of all ages.
Students K-12 read with us for 20 minutes a day for 40 days as we improve reading literacy throughout Dallas-Fort Worth and earn cool prizes from the Mavs and Whataburger!
2021 Reading Challenge begins January 14th and read through March 31st!
The Mavs and Whataburger are challenging students to read (or be read to) at least 20 minutes per day for 40 days. All participants who log 20 minutes a day, for at least 40 days by March 31st have the opportunity to receive A Whataburger Completion Certificate and Free Whataburger Jr. Coupon from participating Whataburger locations, and a Mavs swag bag!

The top 20 students who log the most minutes from January 14 – March 31,2021 will receive an exclusive invitation for their whole class to have a Virtual Pep Rally with Mavs Mascots, Champ and Mavs Man, plus a special mini Luka Dončić locker keepsake and a Whataburger backpack and tumbler.
All notifications to grand prize winners will be communicated by April 5th, 2021. Date of Virtual Pep Rally TBD (April 2021).
