Announcing New Courts Selected for 2018 Refurbishment: Bridgebuilders
The Mavs Foundation is proud to announce the unveiling of the new basketball court for Bridgbuilders at Buckeye Trail. Bridgebuilders is an urban missionary organization that breaks the cycle of poverty by confronting the spiritual needs of low income communities and resolving the material realities that prevent them from flourishing. Through missions, work, and kids programs Bridgebuilders has served the city of Dallas for more than 20 years!
Construction on Bridgebuilders’ new court began April 28, 2018 when friends from the Mavs Foundation, Pro Players Foundation and Glidden Paint started to paint the walls Mavs blue!
The court was officially dedicated with a Court Dedication Ceremony, June 6, 2018. Mavs fans and friends came out to celebrate the new court with the Mavs Foundation, Wesley Matthews, Pro Players Foundation, Coca Cola/Sprite, and Fox Sports Southwest. The dedication ceremony was followed by a basketball clinic for the kids of the community with the Mavs Basketball Academy and Wesley Matthews, along with dinner provided by Raising Cane’s.
