Mark Cuban on 105.3 The Fan

Head honcho Mark Cuban joined The Ben & Skin Show on 105.3 FM The Fan to talk all things Mavs.

Here are some of the highlights.

On Zaza Pachulia’s impact on the Mavs: “He’s been a rebounding machine. The energy, the locker room, he’s been everything we wanted and 10 times more.”

On the Mavs’ increasing interest in bioanalytics: “What it comes down to is the discipline of the players. With Dirk, we tell him exactly what he needs to do and he does it. … Dirk adheres to it religiously. Religiously. He could be doing a stretch and he just blocks out everything else in the world, and so he deserves all the credit for that.”

On whether daily fantasy sports should be considered gambling and therefore become illegal: “I see the commonalities between actually making decisions as the proprietor of the Mavericks along with Donnie Nelson and Rick Carlisle, and the decisions you have to make when I played DFS.”

On Chandler Parsons’ recovery process: “He’s having his up-and-down days just like you would expect. He’s a little bit better in the first quarters, than the fourth quarters. He doesn’t quite have all his explosiveness there, and I know that drives him crazy. But it takes time. He’s really as far along as we can hope for — maybe not as far along as he wants to be — but he’s certainly not as far along as he will be. He had a good night last night, and now he’s just got to string some of those performances, and nobody wants it more than CP25. He’s certainly working hard.”
