Director of Security Operations

Location: Dallas, Texas

DUTIES: Oversee the planning, functions, and activities of security operations and related businesses; analyze, research, consult, develop and implement enhanced procedures necessary to provide security for the staff, team plane and other organization related assets associated with extensive national and international air travel; assess, plan, and implement all aspects of the security procedures for sports team personnel or key public figures; assist visiting teams and security at home games; liaise, consult and develop local, regional, national and international contacts and lines of communication with the necessary and appropriate law enforcement agencies, as well as NBA security operations staff; develop programs, procedures and improved technology to ensure the team and staff security, safety and privacy; pro-actively work with the executive staff and Security Director for the American Airlines Center on safety/security planning and decision making before/after incidents occur; travel nationally and internationally for 50% of work time.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Security Administration, Law Enforcement and/or Police Administration or a related field, or will accept a Bachelors equivalent based on a combination of education, training and/or experience as evaluated by a qualified evaluation service. Also requires 2 years of experience in assessing, planning, and implementing the security procedures for sports team personnel or key public figures; Experience to include therein liaising, consulting and developing local, regional, national and international contacts and lines of communication with the necessary and appropriate law enforcement agencies. Requires national and international travel for 50% of work time.

Premium Sales Associate

Department: Ticket Sales
Status: Full-Time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
If you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a competitive personality, and a proven track record of sales success in a dynamic, high volume sales environment, we invite you to apply for this exciting ticket sales position. Main responsibility will include selling a full menu of ticket products, including, but not limited to, premium season ticket packages, large block group tickets and long term suites and theater boxes.
Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong work ethic and drive to excel.
  • Highly motivated individuals with a strong desire to build a career in premium sales.
  • 4+ years of outstanding performance in commission-based sales position.
  • Maintain computerized records of all touch points with clients and prospects with Salesforce.
  • Commitment to work as long and hard as necessary to achieve personal and company goals, including game nights and outside events.
  • College degree preferred.

This is a full time position that is salaried plus commission and we offer an outstanding benefit program.

Corporate Sponsor Account Executive

The Dallas Mavericks have an immediate opening for a Corporate Sponsor Sales Executive. This position sells and services Dallas Mavericks corporate sponsorships and advertising through a variety of mediums including TV, radio, print, internet,, signage, corporate promotions, hospitality, special event, grassroots and community relations efforts.

Responsibilities and duties include the prospecting of new corporate sponsors/advertisers, building and presenting custom tailored proposals meeting existing and new sponsors’ marketing objectives, maintain follow-up meetings to reach sponsorship agreement/contract, fulfillment and execution of all sponsorship agreements/contracts and renewing and increasing investment of all sponsorship agreements at year end.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills to perform the position requirements successfully. Five years of sales experience, a college degree in business, advertising/marketing, communications or related field experience in radio, TV or sports marketing is helpful.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills is required, ability to interact with and build relationships with new and existing clients, ability to work well with other team members and the ability to work long hours ( ie., during the season) , possess a professional demeanor be detail oriented, persistent, creative, computer literate with individual accountability.
