JANUARY 20, 2016 (DALLAS, TX) The Dallas Mavericks will announce the donation of 1,000 CareAline® Sleeves and Wraps to surrounding pediatric hospitals including Medical City Children’s Hospital on Thursday, January 21st at a press conference at 2:30pm.

The announcement comes after the 2015 SXSW conference where Mark Cuban heard CareAline® ‘s Founder Kezia Fitzgerald’s story. Kezia developed the CareAline® Sleeve and CareAline® Wrap out of necessity when her daughter was undergoing chemotherapy for Neuroblastoma. Fearful that her infant daughter would cause an infection in, or pull out her PICC and Central Lines, and frustrated with the irritation that the tape was causing on her daughter’s skin, Kezia created the sleeve and then wrap to hold the lines in place while still allowing access to them for infusions. Very quickly, Kezia realized that her daughter was not the only patient with the issues. All PICC and Central Lines needed the kind of protection that the sleeves and wraps provided.

The sleeves and wraps have been accented with the Dallas Mavericks logo and will be delivered to hospitals and children’s cancer organizations this month as a donation from the Mavs to the community.
